"Chestnut's Obstetric Anesthesia: Principles and Practice" is truly the definitive textbook of Obstetrical Anesthesiology. It is exceedingly well-written, well-illustrated, and well-organized. Dr. David H. Chestnut, Dr. Cynthia A. Wong, Dr. Lawrence C. Tsen, Dr. Warwick D. Ngan Kee, Dr. Yaakov Beilin, Dr. Jill M. Mhyre, and Dr. Naveen Nathan have collaborated to write an absolutely masterful and authoritative textbook on the care and management of pregnant women and their infants. "Chestnut's Obstetric Anesthesia: Principles and Practice" is one of the best medical textbooks ever written, and it certainly deserves to occupy a prominent position in the personal library of every practicing anesthesiologist, obstetrician, and neonatologist. This has some good information so it is two stars, however I pretty much just tells me to get an expert in every paragraph. Excellent book for Beginners and Students in Sound

So I am working on Pro Tools 11 and I am a beginner learning to edit a lot of sound for my classes and I only have a background of NLE (Non-Linear Editing: Avid MC7, FCPX, Adobe Premier) So I purchased this book to learn some of the basics and I would say that this was a great way to learn about the new software that was release by Avid: Protools.

Each chapter is very detail from helping you start from how to create your own session to how to edit, then also how to export and all of the proper things you need to begin with.

If you are a beginner and interested in working with sound or composing your music, purchase this software and buy this book to get to know the basics of Pro Tools.

I am not done with the book but if there was anything I did not find very helpful, I will make another review.

The book is an extension of prior PRO 101 books but very detailed with of course all new addition to the program. Very easy to follow.

Helpful book for a novice Pro Tools user

I like this book. It's laid out in a logical fashion and designed for use with a class. But I'm working through it on my own and find that same approach very helpful. I feel like I'll be up and running with Pro Tools in a very short time thanks to this book. It's well-organized, has a good index, and because it's only the first of several levels of instruction, is not exhaustive in it's approach. It lays out the goals of each chapter very clearly. Well Done.
