A Very BAD book

I have Tried studying DSP using this book , and failed. There are not enough examples. all questions seem to have no answers , and when one of my collegues wrote the author about this , he revceived nothing back. The questions assume a prior knowledge , yet , the chapters begin with beginners teaching and immediatly jump to a hight level. NO MOTIVATION for usage with fourier transforms is introduced. The algorythems for all programs are quite amateur. In short. after studying DSP using this book , i hardly know a thing, And had to take a special course at my local working place. I am sorry for the bad review, however , it was written so that the author of this book may improve his future books. thank you .

I have only one pure-DSP reference and this is it

I have scanned other DSP books that are out there and have not found any others which I would add to my library to replace this one. There are others that may supplement it, but none eclipses it. At the same time, this text is not intended for the uninitiated and seems targeted towards a graduate DSP specialty.

An important book for some of its content

This is a very good book for covering some topics related to approximation by fixed and floating point filters, including orthogonal filter structures; I don't know any other book which covers this as well.

It can be an introductory book, but it's not the easiest; this probably explains the two poor reviews. It's nice to have the introductory material so the more advanced reader can easily refer to how Mullis and Roberts do things.

If someone has a better, perhaps more recent, survey that includes the material in the second half of Mullis and Roberts, I'd like to know about it.

Finally An Actual Draconian Ritual Book.

Having read the grimore of Tiamat, which I feel introduced folks to the actual draconian path, now come the ritual manual rich in rituals to connect to this beautiful energy, like a previous reviewer said finally an actual working manual with concrete and tangible work to work the draconian path, while there is a lot of information on the subject, much of it is vague and abstract, this book fills that void, while this book did not really teach me anything new, due to having over 30 years of occult practice, knowledge and ritual works. there is an old afrikan proverb, the shine is in you and this is why I like the authors take on working with this energy, keep in mind while it may seem simple that you don't need complicated ritual to achive working this path, you still must put in the time, energy, practice and meditation in order to work with this powerful energy. this is not for the faint of heart or the dabbler this is serious work. I would also heed the authors words of caution in undertaking this great work. this is not the type of path where everything is laid out on the table, on this path you must go to the deepest, darkest recess of self, transcend fear, doubt, insecurities and obliterate your conditionings in the matrix. Wonderful book for children and adults

My eight year old daughter asked for this book after her library teacher read it to her class at school. I rarely turn down a request for books, so I ordered it for her. When it came, and I read it to her, I couln't get through it without becoming all choked up! It is a beautiful story about a crippled lamb who, because of his lameness, is in the stable when the Baby Jesus is born. It is wonderful because it says not only does your infirmity not limit you, it can actually give you an opportunity for greatness!

mostly good, and glad that I could get it quick ...

I bought this because it was the only hymnal available on prime. I was making gifts for grandmothers. I tried to find songs that we all knew. I was familiar with maybe 1/3 of them (I grew up Assemblies of God, Penticostal), and I've been raised in church. It doesn't have some of the old hymns from my childhood, but it has most of them. So, mostly good, and glad that I could get it quick from Prime!

The celebration hymnal is a great resource for someone involved in the music ministry at church. The hymnal is full of the most popular Christain songs, both traditional and contempory. It is fully equipped with arrangements, intros, choral endings and more, making it perfect for choirs and special numbers. It is easy to make a song sound professional - without the work because the format makes it easy to sing. It is a classic that I'll use for years to come.
